Description :Senior Project ManagerOverviewAs a senior manager, you will be responsible for projects from start to finish. This will involve taking incoming calls, writing proposals, conducting field work, writing reports, and maintaining project budgets. The responsibilities would also include occasional business development activities such as attending conferences and networking.Typical projects include exposure monitoring, indoor air quality investigations and testing (proactive and complaint-based) biological hazard assessments, moisture and water intrusion investigations, air permitting, and other projects. Air permitting experience preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have experience in providing to clients in healthcare, commercial real estate, manufacturing, and other markets.RequirementsThe requirements include: Managing projects from start to finish. This involves managing project scope, scheduling, and budgets. The work also includes:Conducting background researchWriting detailed proposalsPerforming field workInterpreting laboratory dataProviding recommendations to clientsDrafting reportsManaging technical staffQualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, or a degree in another hard science such as Chemistry, Biology, etc.The candidate must have experience in the following:Indoor air quality investigations and testing (proactive and complaint-based) Biological hazard assessmentsExposure monitoringMoisture and water intrusion investigationsAir permitting (a plus)Asbestos and lead-based paint assessmentsIdeally, the candidate would have the ability to develop business from new and existing clients.Other requirements include:CSP or CIH certification (preferred)Prior experience evaluating, providing advice/consulting, and implementing solutions for industrial hygiene issuesExcellent project management experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteAs a senior manager, you would be in charge of your own department.
