Job Description

Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.

Excellent communication skills required.

ln this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:
Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.

Required / Desired Skills:

Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Experience in IT Project Management - Required - 5 Years
Prior experience working on large software projects as a Senior IT PM - Highly desired
Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation - Required - 5 Years
Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall - Required - 5 Years
Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects - Required - 5 Years
Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles - Required - 5 Years
Strong communication and presentation skills - Required - 5 Years
PMP Certified - Highly desired
