Job Description

Senior SAS Data Integration \ SAS Developers

Technical Skills:

Working closely with customers, you will utilize your experience in a variety of the client products to participate in design and implementation of creating software that helps people make better decisions. As a member of the consulting team, you will extract data from a variety of data sources, transform data, and load it into data warehouses and marts. You will profile data for data quality; and develop and implement cleansing rules. You will also participate in BI report writing using SAS tools. You will work with other team members to develop reports and utilize state of the art analytic techniques. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements & Skills

All candidates must work from the United states due to hosting restrictions
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.
5+ years programming ADVANCED BASE SAS Certification Credentials
Working with Oracle or other RDBMS
Using Data Input to Read Flat Text Files

Preference: SAS Viya, SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide, Visual Analytics

5+ year Linux\Unix OS
Building a Data Model – Understanding Star Schemes
Gathering data requirements and designing/developing the Data Warehouse/ Data Marts (Concepts including Slowly Changing Dimensions, Change\Delta record management)
Creating Report Output
Preference: SAS Visual Analytics
Creating Design Documentation
Training Users


Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.


Additional Preferences

The following skills & experience aren’t required but having some of these skills increased our ability to keep partner resources in the stable utilized.


ETL and data warehousing experience in support of BI and reporting systems
Advanced report design and build experience
Experience with relational and multi-dimensional databases and data management tools
Experience in technical lead role
Ability to effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers, customers and management .
