Sensory & Consumer Experience Support Scientist
The Sensory and Consumer Experience Team partners with R&D stakeholders to develop sensory and consumer research strategies. The Support Scientist coordinates Sensory Operations and logistical details for Consumer Testing.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate & plan Sensory Operations harmonization across the Americas (including methods, lexicon, practices & ways of working).
Execute Sensory Operations Capability projects.
Partner with Category Sensory Scientists to understand sensory & consumer testing needs.
Ensure accurate documentation of test goals, objectives, test design & testing procedures.
Communicate test schedule to R&D stakeholders to ensure required testing materials are ready on time.
Ensure test results are delivered to Category Sensory Scientist with preliminary recommendations and attend project meetings to share results to R&D when needed to support Category Scientist.
Required Job Skills & Years of Experience for Each:
Candidates should have strong math skills, be detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office – including Power Point, Excel, and Word. Ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
Essential Job Requirements:
High School Diploma, some college preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years quality experience.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be detail oriented and flexible to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently, as well as in multi-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Excel, and Word.
