Description:

Service Sales Proposal Engineer

The Service Sales Proposal Engineer is responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for service contracts, projects, and emergency services related to electrical equipment in power substations. This role bridges the gap between the technical and sales teams by understanding client requirements, providing tailored solutions, and supporting the sales team in securing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
a. Analyze client requirements from RFQs, specifications, and technical documents.
b. Design customized service solutions, including maintenance, upgrades, emergency repairs, and retrofits.
c. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
d. Develop cost estimations and pricing strategies that align with the company’s profitability goals.
e. Work closely with the sales, engineering, and service teams to align proposals with operational capabilities.
f. Collaborate with procurement and vendors to obtain accurate material and subcontractor costs.
d. Ensure all proposals comply with internal quality standards and policies.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Additional certifications in sales or project management are advantageous.

Experience:

From 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role/field

Skills:

Technical understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Communication and team working
Proficient in software tools such as MS Office, ERP systems (SAP), and CRM platforms (Salesforce)

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
