Coordinates the timely shipments of materials. Supervises non-salary shippers and truckers in prioritizing and/or organizing the shipment of loads.Major DutiesPrepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.Create a local document management system for an office or department.Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.Produce, update, and provide best practice support on a wide range of Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems.Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.Support others by carrying out simple legal tasks.Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. The position requires working onsite, providing support to assembly and shipment operations. This role offers flexibility in scheduling for students enrolled at Coffeyville Community College. Candidates must be able to commit to full 4-hour shifts within first shift hours.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Create Serial Tags to support assembly operations.Program TCU’s for OEM transmission shipments.Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and export paperwork.Set up and manage outbound shipments from client component works.Create assembly packets.Oversee outside production units at the painter.Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipments.Maintain shipment files, issue reports, and address customer inquiries.Qualifications:Experience in warehousing or shipping is highly beneficial.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is preferred.Strong team-player with self-motivated and outgoing personality.Ability to spend up to 50% of work time on feet on the factory floor.Additional Information:Metatarsals required from the first day.Business casual dress code.Notes:Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through FridayPart time role Hours: 20 hours/week (4 hours/day, 10 am to 2 pm preferred); may work additional hours for PTO coverage as needed.No travel is required for this position.Position interviews will take place onsite.Position will work onsite.
