Description/Comment:Showroom SpecialistGENERAL FUNCTIONThe Showroom Specialist oversees sample management and organization primarily in their respective showroom. This includes samples preparation for customer meetings, digital tools demonstrations and troubleshooting in the showroom, as well as general showroom maintenance.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESShowroom Merchandising & Event Planning:Supports planning of buying days (market weeks) in local showroom including organizing customer travel itineraries (flights/ hotels/ car services, etc.) and meeting scheduling, catering, floral arrangements, and general showroom maintenance.Prepares samples and maintains tracking for off-site samples usage including, customer meetings, tradeshows, brand immersions, catalog photography, and selling events.Works in conjunction with local and global brand teams to assist in execution of showroom merchandising to support brand storytelling of new collections.Troubleshoots for local showroom events in the capacity of visual updates, IT support, Digital tools support, fixtures, lights, etc.Ensure proper organization, inventory and tracking of all samples received to facilitate market week calendar.Coordinate meeting space as needed for customer and internal team usage, in alignment with Asset Protection and Facilities teams.Cleans and restores onsite & traveling sample sets to customer-ready condition.Completes quarterly samples recalls/ inventory updates.Assist Account Managers, Product Team and Brand Managers with sales and marketing support projects.Travels to other showrooms or off-site locations as needed in support of Sales and Events teams.Provides “Key Holder” support – responsible for opening/closing office, as well as security in satellite showrooms.Showroom Operations:Works with corporate “Go to Market” and Sales Operations teams to order new collection samples in SAP and follows up on errors, as well as missing skus.Review tracking visibility including follow-up with Italy on any delays.Extract “Discontinuation” lists and Consignment Inventory Reports” from SAP.Creates “Return Authorization” in SAP and executes shipping recalled samples to ATL distribution center.Works with Customs Compliance / Import-Export team to execute shipments to/from Canada.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Sales is preferred/ Associate’s Degree minimumStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)High level of computer literacy: Excel, Word and PowerPoint2- 3 years of merchandising and inventory management experience with at least one year of luxury showroom experience preferredAbility to prioritize and handle additional responsibilities as required and assignedWork well independently and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly organized, and analyticalNotes:100% onsite 5 days a weekWork Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
