Responsibilities:Assist with the commissioning of new fire alarm systems on construction sites.Document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies and progress.Conduct testing and inspection of systems under maintenance agreement.Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs.Identify code and non-conformance issues.Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader.Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material.Submit accurate time and expense logs.Work overtime when needed.Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.Qualifications:High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferredProven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skillAbility to read and understand design and construction documentsMust be able to differentiate types/colors of wireMust be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tabletMust be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassistedAbility to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customersMust obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 15 monthsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Good verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMust have good customer-facing and customer service skillsMust possess a valid driver's license with limited violationsNotes:6am-2pm
