Description:The Site Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with contractual and local quality standards throughout all phases of site operations, from civil, mechanical, and electrical erection to commissioning. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, coordinating inspections, and driving adherence to project quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance & Compliance:Review and interpret contractual and local regulations applicable to site quality.Ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and erection documentation (drawings, procedures, etc.) are in place before activities commence.Evaluate Contractor Quality Plans for alignment with Project Quality Plans and customer specifications.Verify that inspections and testing during erection and commissioning are conducted, documented, and validated per approved ITP sequences.Oversee the proper preparation, compilation, and submission of final quality documentation to customers, third parties, and regulatory authorities.Track the completion system at the site, providing an overview of inspection status, certifications, and outstanding work (including punch lists).Verify that all testing and measurement equipment at the site is calibrated, properly documented, and compliant with certification standards.Key Requirements:Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Process Management/System for Construction and Commissioning (less experience acceptable for recent graduates from an accredited Engineering university).Strong track record in Change Management, with experience in managing internal projects/programs within large and complex organizations.Education & Industry Expertise:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.EPC, Power or Energy industry experience required.Skills & Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with construction codes and standards.Proven test coordination experience.Proficiency in completion systems and computer skills.Competencies & Soft Skills:High level of rigor, precision, and attention to detail in work execution.Effective communication skills, with a results-driven and solution-oriented mindset.Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while demonstrating openness and strong listening skills.Language:Fluency in English (written and spoken).Education: Bachelor in Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)5+ years of experience in Quality process Management/System for Construction and commissioning or freshly graduated from an University.Out of states candidates willing to relocate at their own expenseNotes:OnsiteVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
