Job Description

This position will be remote for the duration of the engagement.

Description:

Client is seeking a Softdocs Forms & Workflow Developer to design, build, and maintain electronic forms (eForms) and workflow processes within the Softdocs Etrieve platform. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with the Classic and New Softdocs Form Builders, strong knowledge of Ellucian Banner ERP, and the ability to write custom code to support advanced form functions and automation.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and configure eForms and workflows using both the Classic and New Softdocs Form Builders.
Write and maintain custom code/scripts to extend functionality, automate processes, and support advanced form features.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate forms and workflows with Ellucian Banner and other enterprise systems.
Troubleshoot, test, and optimize developed solutions for performance, security, and usability.
Maintain thorough documentation of developed forms, workflows, and supporting code.
Provide training and technical support to end users and administrators.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Softdocs Classic Form Builder.
6+ months of experience with the new Softdocs Form Builder.
Proven experience writing custom code (e.g., JSON, SQL, APIs, or similar) to enhance forms and workflows.
Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner ERP, including integration with forms and workflows.
Strong understanding of business process automation and workflow logic.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with enterprise document/content management systems (BDM, SharePoint)
Familiarity with higher education business processes.
Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data management practices.

Notes:

This position will be remote for the duration of the engagement.
This is a full-time position for 40/hour a week. Hours must be worked between 8AM - 5PM EST Monday - Friday.
