Software Automations and Integrations Engineer
Cybersecurity Compliance Engineer implements and maintains cybersecurity automations and integrations for a variety of systems in order to streamline and automate compliance, controls, and auditing. Subject Matter Expert in software automation topics and technologies, automating tools and processes, and building web system integrations.
What you’ll work on:
Develop, implement, and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes for multiple software and systems in tandem with architects and system engineers.
Work together with development operations and development teams to develop and implement monitoring and security solutions in integrated product software and supporting applications.
Protect applications in compliance with multiple global privacy, cybersecurity, business resiliency, and compliance frameworks.
Conduct rigorous oversight of security systems and security configuration administration and define and implement solutions to reduce risk to systems and accounts.
Implement and maintain software automation solutions to support cybersecurity compliance, controls, and auditing.
Develop and maintain software integrations for cybersecurity tools and applications.
Streamline cybersecurity tasks and processes through software automation and integrations.
Configure and manage cybersecurity compliance monitoring and auditing solutions.
Implement security improvements by assessing the current situation, evaluating trends, anticipating future state requirements.
Keep up to date with the current trends and developments impacting automated cybersecurity compliance and AI technologies.
Support cybersecurity audits through automated evidence-collection solutions.
Develop and configure search queries, dashboards, and automated reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5-10 years of cybersecurity or IT management system experience with a strong preference for product security experience (consumer-facing apps and services).
Hold or work toward multiple cybersecurity certifications, including CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or additional AWS advanced certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and VMware Certified Professional.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to position controls in anticipation of threats.
PREFERRED
Proficient in programing languages used for automation including: Python, Bash
Familiar with query languages, including JQL and J1QL.
Experience working with cloud computing technologies, including AWS and Azure.
Experience working with REST APIs and regular expressions.
Experience working with tools such as Selenium, AWS Lambda, Docker, JupiterOne, Ansible, Postman, Terraform, Airtable, Confluence, and Jira.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and integrating with Bitbucket and GitHub.
Knowledge of AI technologies.
Experience with secret management solutions such as AWS Secrets, and HashiCorp Vault
