Description:SolarWinds Observability AdministratorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and skilled SolarWinds Observability Administrator to manage and enhance our monitoring environment using SolarWinds Orion and complementary tools. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable system visibility, rapid issue detection, and effective response coordination across our IT infrastructure.Key Responsibilities1. Node & Access Managemento Add, modify, and decommission nodes in Orion.o Create and manage user IDs, access rights, and permission levels.2. Monitoring Configuration & Maintenanceo Design and maintain meaningful views, dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to user and departmental needs.o Create, update, and manage application templates for effective monitoring.3. Daily System Health & Preventative Maintenanceo Perform daily health checks of the Orion environment (polling, data flow, storage).o Schedule and perform system reboots or failovers required for patching or outages.4. Incident & Ticket Managemento Handle incoming ServiceNow tickets related to monitoring issues.o Open vendor support cases (“factory tickets”) as needed.o Collaborate with networking and other IT teams to resolve incidents promptly.5.
