Position Overview


Description:

Senior Solutions Engineer providing technical leadership support for Medicaid initiatives, with strong Curam, AWS, and J2EE skills. Designs scalable solutions, builds modernization components, and turns complex policy rules into technical specifications.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:
The Senior Solutions Engineer will be responsible for delivering technical leadership and hands-on development across multiple modernization and enhancement efforts.

Key responsibilities and required skills include:

Strong development experience in Curam, AWS, J2EE and new technologies.
Lead the design of solutions to support various Medicaid initiatives to ensure it is scalable, reusable, and compliant with federal and state guidelines.
Possess strong knowledge of Medicaid Eligibility and hands-on implementation experience with large Medicaid programs.
Provide accurate effort estimates and detailed project plans for development initiatives, enhancements, and modernization work.
Support development of new technical solutions as the program moves into application modernization, including the use of:
AWS-based tools
Automated processing of paper application forms
API development using Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, and similar integration platforms
Low-code/no-code tools for responsive user interface development
Facilitate communication between program, policy, and technical teams to reduce misunderstandings and rework.
Recommend and support optimization strategies to improve system responsiveness, throughput, and overall user experience.
Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred Qualifications):

Implement GenAI solutions, including those built on AWS Bedrock, to support worker assistance, knowledge retrieval, and decision support.
Translate complex business requirements and policy rules into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
Architect scalable, generalized notice-generation frameworks to support multiple programs and reduce manual interventions.



Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Experience creating effort estimates and detailed project plans for development initiatives, enhancements, and modernization work. - Required - 10 Years
Development experience in AWS, J2EE and related technologies - Required - 8 Years
Experience leading development of new technical solutions as the program moves into application modernization, - Required - 5 Years
Experience facilitating communicaiton with Stake holders - Required - 5 Years
Experience with low-code/no-code tools for responsive user interface development - Required - 3 Years
Experience with Agile development - Highly desired - 5 Years
Development experience in Curam - Highly desired - 5 Years
Exerience in translating complex business requirements and policy rules into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications - Highly desired - 4 Years
Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing - Highly desired - 3 Years
Experience implementing GenAI solutions, including those built on AWS Bedrock, to support worker assistance, knowledge retrieval, and decision support - Highly desired - 1 Years
Experience with Medicaid Eligibility and hands on implementation expeirence with large programs. - Desired - 5 Years
