• This position is responsible for monitoring, screening, and processing Retirement, Survivor, Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI) Benefit application/claims for qualifying children/youth in client care. This position researches, completes forms, manages spreadsheets and works with several programs, databases, and software. This position also handles all the mail from Social Security Administration.Skills Required:• Interpretation of statutes (both State and Federal)• Verbal/written communications• Research and evaluation• Complex analytical work, compiling and documenting fiscal data and computer navigation and tracking• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with internal and external individualsSkills Preferred• Administrative skills, organized, flexible, ability to multitaskExperienced Required:• There are not too many people who have social security experience.
