Strategic Initiatives Lead

Position Overview

The client seeks a senior professional to jump-start and organize critical initiatives—most urgently a streamlined participant onboarding process for client and a data-sharing partnership with the State Health Plan (SHP).
This individual will design and launch high-priority workstreams, coordinating consultants, project managers, and the client subject-matter experts. Once the processes are defined and moving, the Lead will transition day-to-day management to permanent staff while remaining available for strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding Process Design – Create and launch a unified onboarding model that reduces connection time, establishes clear metrics, and integrates supporting technologies.
State Health Plan Strategy – Initiate a joint client data strategy and governance framework, expand provider connections, and set up early use cases (care management, population health, quality measurement).
Enterprise Policy Support – Provide high-level policy analysis and strategic planning on other emerging priorities, ensuring smooth hand-off to permanent teams once direction is set.
Coordinate cross-functional staff and external vendors, keeping stakeholders engaged and progress visible.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, public health, policy, information systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder health IT or policy projects from concept to launch.
Knowledge of health information exchange, EHR integration, healthcare data standards, and privacy/security requirements.
Strong facilitation, communication, and consensus-building skills

This is a part-time position working 20 hours a week during core business hours - 8:00AM - 5:00PM
