Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.Leads and monitors supplier development activities across the assigned categoryManaging logistic process non-conformities by monitoring LCAF tickets and developing and executing Supplier Quality improvement initiativesEngaging with Logistic functions and suppliers to improve LCAF response and closure rateProactively drives logistic related supplier process improvement to enable on-time-supplyDrives high severity incident analysis and corrective actions with logistic suppliersParticipates on business reviews along with operation logistic and logistic category with Carriers, Freight Forwarder and distribution centers,Having effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.To be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.Have minimum of 4 years of experience in a Supplier Quality or Quality Role.Bring working knowledge of assigned categoryPossess ISO 9001 Auditor skills, ideally lead auditor qualificationExperienced in continuous improvement processes (6S, Lean, or similar)Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
