Supply Management Planner I - Supply ManagementJob We are seeking a dedicated Supply Management Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of purchased parts for both internal and external suppliers across one or more locations.Major PurposePerforms the duties of a Supply Management Planner I. Communicates with suppliers on a day-to-day basis regarding schedule releases. Schedules requirements for purchased material such as economic order quantities, optimal inventory level, delivery and material replenishment. Responsible for the implementation of optimal logistics processes and the material management systems within the unit and for the logistic performance of the suppliers. Provides support services to Supply Management Specialists.Major DutiesExecute, in a supply chain of low complexity, planning activities within a defined framework/system that mainly affect own organization/unit.Investigate incidents with suppliers or supplies and recommend actions in a timely manner to enable the delivery of the agreed services and supplies.Collect and collate information on the key cost drivers, market dynamics and issues, areas of innovation, and alternative suppliers to provide solid market information to more senior colleagues for decision-making.Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work, and assist in identifying improvements.Gather and report on information on existing contract performance and provide it as input to the new contract process for negotiations/renegotiations.Perform routine inventory-control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records, following established inventory-control procedures.Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the delivery process of purchased parts.Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.Utilize Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for daily tasks.Required Skills:Strong communication skills.Proficiency in typing and computer operations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.Preferred Qualifications:A 4-year degree in a Business-related field or Supply Management.Open to recent graduates.Experience with SAP.Skills, Abilities, KnowledgeAction PlanningPlanning and OrganizingData Collection and AnalysisVerbal CommunicationProcurement Process ManagementTraffic and Vehicle PlanningAssessmentCosting and BudgetingReportingReview and ReportingEducationPost-Secondary Non-Tertiary EducationWork ExperienceBasic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months)Very limited (0 to 3 months)Notes:Fully onsite role.Shift: 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm with potential for overtime)There might be a requirement to drive between sites or to other client locations using a personal vehicle.
