Join our team as a Supply Management Specialist, supporting key supply chain operations with the client. You will act as the primary liaison for Purchasing Desk RFD Metal Fabrication Desk supporting Large Tractor. Your role will involve managing critical part shortages, delinquent requirements from suppliers, mitigating line down risks, and communicating effectively and efficiently to cross-functional teams. This position requires active engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Execute, in a supply chain of low complexity, planning activities for OFP Metal Fab Desk Code RFDCarry out a range of supplier management activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents.Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes. Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitor them to make sure they are effective.Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.Produce, update, and provide best practice support on complex Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems, advising colleagues as needed and using expertise to help improve processes.Requirements:BA in business or another related field - Open to recent grad candidatesSelf-starter with the ability to analyze data and lead the way through complex problemsStrong interest in initiating and developing new relationships with suppliers and peer functional groupsDemonstrated communication skillsSAP experience is requiredAdditional Information:Travel to other client sites using personal vehicle will be required as the role is shared between two different client locations.Purchase of metatarsal shoes will be needed, although not required immediately.Notes:Position will work fully onsite.Shift: 1st Shift - Start time between 6 am and 7 amNote: Minimal overtime
