Description:We are currently looking for an ambitious Contract System Test Engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics business within the client. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care.As a Contract System Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:Developing test methods for the verification of a complex medical robotics systemSupporting and updating the traceability of requirements and riskImplementation of processes in our toolchain for verification and issue managementExecution of system and subsystem verification testingDrive continuous improvement for systems engineering and quality processesThis position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with client:Experience developing verification methods and strategy for a complex medical deviceWorking with traceability for a large set of multi-layered product requirementsKnowledge of applicable medical device standards such as IEC 60601-1 and collateral standardsImplementing test method verificationWorking on complex electromechanical medical device programs through the verification and validation phasesDetermining sample size for tests based on statistical processesConducting statistical analysis to determine if multi-sample tests have passedValidation of SW tools and test fixturesRequired skills to have for the success of this role:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in engineering discipline, such as Systems, Biomedical, Robotics, Software, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5+ years relevant technical experience in the medical device industry (medical/surgical robotics experience preferred)Notes:9am - 5pmVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
