Job Description

Description:

This position is responsible for assisting Infrastructure Team Lead with the technical and business analysis for infrastructure services utilized by client including network and server hardware, software, and services. This position supports the coordination of service provisioning and infrastructure hosting from client , working under the guidance of the Infrastructure Team Lead to ensure client adheres to infrastructure best practices and procedures.

Systems Administrator 3 PD:

Under the general supervision of the IT Solutions Center (ITSC) Supervisor this position is responsible for assisting Infrastructure Team Lead with the technical and business analysis for infrastructure services utilized by client including network and server hardware, software, and services. This responsibility includes working with BITS managers and other team leaders in client to provide consistent, coordinated services, and ensuring high quality services for all functions provided by the infrastructure team.

This position supports the coordination of service provisioning and infrastructure hosting from client , working under the guidance of the Infrastructure Team Lead to ensure client adheres to infrastructure best practices and procedures. Responsibilities include security consultation and administration, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing security measures to protect infrastructure services. Additionally, the role involves technical troubleshooting to resolve system issues, collaborating with project and business teams across the client, and aligning business needs with IT systems, technical solutions, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.

This position delivers customer service and consulting support across a wide range of technical services, actively participating in projects from inception to completion. The incumbent will assist in recommending configurations for hybrid-cloud hosted virtualized servers, security content filters, and network systems. Responsibilities also include managing and configuring ManageEngine Endpoint Central design and coordination for application deployment, Windows desktop gold images, desktop applications, and the Office 365 Suite of productivity tools. Success in this role requires an enterprise-wide perspective and collaboration with client, infrastructure providers, SaaS vendors, client technical staff, client management, and business stakeholders on technical design and business challenges.

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

Knowledge managing and supporting IAM and Directory services in a hybrid-could environment. Products and services such as: Microsoft Entra-ID, Microsoft Active Directory, OKTA, Kerberos, LDAP, DFS, Certificate Services, Replication and Synchronization of LDAP directories. (8 years)
Knowledge of Group Policy, Endpoint Security, Virtual Server Snapshots, Trust relationships, Active Directory sites and services. (8 years)
Experience in security and vulnerability management, utilizing advanced knowledge of hybrid-cloud security measures to mitigate risks effectively. (5 years)
Experience in desktop image creation, maintenance, and software packaging and deployment using ManageEngine Endpoint Central. (5 years)

Nice to Have:

Proficient in automation scripting to enhance productivity and efficiency in hybrid-cloud Windows and O365 environments. Expertise in PowerShell and Graph API, with additional experience in Python and Bash.
