Job Description


The client is seeking an experienced IT Contractor with a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing technical work in information technology security and support fields. This is a cross-team position to fulfill duties within our security and help desk teams.

You will be required to provide general technology support, respond to and implement support tickets, assist documenting and managing incidents and vulnerabilities, perform network monitoring and reporting, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies. The ideal candidate should be capable of working collaboratively between teams while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Experience in information security related support - Required - 2 Years
Experience in helpdesk related support - Required - 2 Years
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing - Required
Ability to collaborate with peers, between teams, and stakeholders - Required
Experience with Microsoft server and workstation operating systems - Required
Experience with Microsoft O365 products - Required
Experience with incident reporting and support ticketing systems - Required
Experience with network and computer security testing tools - Required
Experience reading and interpreting security logs and reports - Required
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices of information security - Required
Knowledge of business process analysis methods - Required
Responds promptly to technical, system and/or emergency issues when contacted outside of scheduled work hours, remotely or in person as needed - Required
Perform related work as required - Required
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Required
Stays up to date with cybersecurity trends and risks - Required
Experience working with Tenable and Splunk - Required
