Position Overview


Job Description:
The Technical Content Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing technical documentation, including user guides, training materials, FAQs, troubleshooting resources, and product support content. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to create clear, accurate, and scalable documentation that enhances the customer experience and supports product adoption. The Technical Content Specialist will play a key role in supporting new product launches, feature releases, and ongoing customer education initiatives, helping drive customer retention, increase support efficiency, and enable continued growth across Sentera's drone scouting, software, and hardware portfolios.

Responsibilities:
Develop Technical Documentation & Conduct Product Demonstrations: Create and maintain user guides, training materials, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting resources for customers and partners.
Support Product Launches: Develop launch-ready support content, onboarding materials, and documentation for new products, features, and software updates.
Enhance Customer Education: Create scalable educational resources that improve product adoption, customer success, and overall user experience.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure documentation accuracy and alignment.
Maintain Content Quality: Continuously review and update technical content to reflect product enhancements, customer feedback, and evolving business needs.
Improve Support Efficiency: Build and optimize self-service resources that reduce support inquiries, accelerate issue resolution, and improve customer satisfaction.
Support Business Growth: Enable the successful adoption of PixelScout, FieldAgent, and other Sentera solutions by delivering clear, accessible, and effective technical content.

Required Skills/Experiences:
Strong technical writing and content development skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and content organization.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, support, and marketing.
Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
3+ years of experience in technical writing, technical documentation, content development, or customer education.
Experience creating user guides, training materials, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and troubleshooting documentation.
Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced product development environment.
Desired / Preferred Experience
Experience in precision agriculture, drones, remote sensing, geospatial technology, or ag-tech.
Experience supporting product launches and feature releases.
Knowledge of customer support processes, onboarding programs, and self-service support strategies.
Experience developing video tutorials, e-learning content, or multimedia training resources.

Education:
Engineering, Marketing, Business, Management preferred but will consider candidates without a degree with 5 or more years of applicable experience


Notes:
Work Hours: 1st shift position – 8 am to 4:30 pm – Minimal overtime
