Your Responsibilities:As a Tool Room Master Coordinator/Scheduler/Planner for the client Drive Train Tool Room Machining, Fabrication and AssemblyLead the planning and routing execution of multiple job shop type projects (work orders) through the machining, fabrication, and assembly processes of the Tool Room.Schedule and prioritize work for individual machining centers.Determine capacity constraints of processes and determine alternative routings for on-time work order completion.Keep work order system (WTDR and SAP) up to date by tracking work order completion and report work order status to customers.Facilitate and coordinate the ordering of materials, perishable tooling, and other components necessary to complete work orders. This includes preparing External Shipping Orders and Purchase Orders for deliveries and receiving.What Skills You Need:4 or more years of manufacturing experience, primarily in metal CNC turning, milling, and grind operations.4 or more years of experience with design blueprint and modeling interpretation for manufacturing processes.Project management principles and tools.Lean manufacturing and process improvement experience.Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiations, and conflict resolution.Ability to lead and influence without authority.What Makes You Stand Out:Working knowledge of materials, heat treat, and surface finishes/coatings used in the construction of tools, fixtures, and special machinesScheduling and planning for a wide variety of machining workExperience working with CNC Machine ProgrammingSAP KnowledgeProficient using MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointKnowledge of Visual Analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Knowledge of 3D design software (Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape, Fusion 360)Education:Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology disciplineBachelor’s degree in a related disciplineAnd/or, 4 or more years equivalent experience in the tool, die, or mold industryCompetencies:Driving Sustainable ResultsOperating Globally and InclusivelyMaking Sound DecisionsCommunicating with ImpactActing StrategicallyLeading ChangePhysical Requirements:~50% time spent on feet within the factoryWill drive a client Gator inside the factory (after safety training is completed).May use personal vehicle for traveling to other client facilities
Notes:Fully onsite; candidate must be comfortable with factory environment and occasional intra-facility travel.1st shift, flexible start time (6–8 AM); must be consistent and work a full 8-hour day.
