Manning the Unclaimed Property HotlineThe first contact and the liaison between Unclaimed Property and its current and potential clients. This position takes ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries.Specific duties include:Managing inbound calls in a timely mannerFollowing call CENTER “scripts” when handling different topicsIdentifying customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutionsDocument ControlRetrieving, classifying and organizing forms and correspondence, specific tasks include:Sign for incoming registered for certified mailSort and Distribute mailProduce digital copies of documents for retention purposesKeep records of incoming packagesCollect and prepare correspondence to be mailedCorrect and forward misdirected mailArrange for express delivery when neededData EntryQuickly and accurately capturing information, specific tasks include:Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systemsType in data provided directly from customersVerify data by comparing it to source documentsUpdate existing dataRetrieve data from the database or electronic files as requestedSort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lostRequired Skills: record keeping, data entry, customer service skills, phone experiencePreferred Skills: high school diploma or equivalentNotes:Hybrid Position - candidate will be required to work in the office every Monday (or the following day if that Monday is a holiday), with additional selected days as needed.
