Description:JOB DUTIES:In this role, this engineer will be part of a highly technical team that develops test plans, completes functional & electrical validation, & debugs issues for new processor silicon interface features with strong focus power and performance attainment and optimization.We are looking for an engineer with experience in power or performance attainment of features of CPU, GPU, or APUs. This person should thrive in a matrixed environment spanning multiple countries and time zones.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop testplans in collaboration with architects, firmware, and IP-specific engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets.Execute power and performance studies to support business development.Validate and tune product features post-silicon.Set up and debug systems under test.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs.Familiarity with graphics, core, and gaming-focused workloads.Familiarity with the use of data acquisition and thermal equipment.Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI, Sigma, or similar.Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multi-site technical organization.Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of related experience; or Masters plus at least 5 years directly related experience (an advanced degree will be considered a plus);VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
