Job Description

Description:

Candidate will:
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate systems including ASIC hardware, drivers, software tools, firmware, BIOS, operating systems, and applications
- Developing tool for system validation for the client platform including leveraging and applying LLM techniques – Jupyter notebook, Prompt Engineering
- Configure and maintain test hardware and infrastructure across multiple test systems

Requirements:
- Must understand Windows OS Application Development – Web browser, Web Streaming Start and Stop automation
- Must be able to multi-task under high pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to interpret new technologies and integrate into tool development
- Ability to review test plans and procedures from other engineers and provide feedback to improve coverage
- Ability to interpret and report test data in meaningful formats including tables and graphs
- Work in cross-functional, multicultural team environment and to understand and apply technical concepts
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues
- Must be able to climb / reach to high spot in the Lab with ladder or other safety tool
- Must be able to walk freely by lifting 5 laptop weight for normal day to day lab work
- Must know how to handle electronic equipment safely

SKILLS
5 or more years of Notebook PC Platform Validation (post Silicon validation) experience is preferred
Strong in usability and adoption of LLMs for Process Optimization and Improvement.
Strong in GITHUB and Virtual Machine Setup for wider usage deployment
Strong programming knowledge in Python, PERL, and .NET/C# languages
Strong problem solving (regression) skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
System level knowledge of the following subsystems: Memory, PC Buses (PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, Processor, Chipset).
PC Hardware set up and configuration: install and configure processors, hard drives, network cards, memory etc.,
Read and follow technical instructions.
Able to clearly communicate in written English (email, submit issues, and document test results).
Good organizational skills: plan, prioritize, and manage assigned workload; can efficiently execute multiple projects at the same time.
Quick learner: able to pick up and learn new concepts, applications and operating system in a short period of time
Scripting ability such as bash/Python/Ruby is a plus
Demonstrated desire to learn and grow within the role.
Ability to test both Windows and Linux OS environments
