Description:Job DutiesEnsures that all guests to the client Museum receive an exceptional client experience.Performs opening and closing procedures for the facility.Performs front desk information operations, administrative duties.Assist in all general daily activities as needed.Receives ongoing training and development.Works special events, including set up, and tear down.Has availability to work during a 7-day-a-week operation, including holidays.Acts as an ambassador for all community attractions and businesses.Greet guests, tour groups, etc.Answer the main phone line at the front deskTake tour reservation with guests via phoneGreet visitors/groups and give a short overview of the self-guided Museum layoutRequired SkillsCandidates should have a friendly, outgoing personality, and be comfortable interacting with Museum guestsAbility to multi-taskAttention to detailClear written and verbal communicationHigh level of customer service and professionalismSome computer experience would be helpfulPrevious experience working in a museum is a plusAdditional InformationThis will be an Onsite positionShould have availability Tuesday-Saturday (closed on Sunday and Monday)Notes:Business casual dress code.This position will work onsite on the first day and interviews will be conducted onsite as well.The hours of operation for the facility are, Tuesday-Saturday from 9-5, closed on Sunday and Monday.Looking for someone to work 16-20 hours per week.VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
