Description:Warehouse HelperThe Warehouse Helper plays a key role in supporting daily shop and warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and assisting with equipment preparation and tool packing for shipment. This position is essential to ensuring efficient workflow and the timely delivery of tools and equipment to job sites.Key responsibilities:Clean and wash equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standardsSweep floors and maintain an organized, debris free shop environmentAssist the Shop Foreman with packing tools and equipment for outbound shipmentsVerify tool and equipment lists against packing instructions to ensure accuracyLoad and unload tools, parts, and equipment as requiredStore tools, materials, and supplies properly in designated areasFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all timesReport damaged tools or equipment promptly to the Shop ForemanSupport additional warehouse and shop activities as assignedSkills & Competencies:Strong attention to detail when cleaning, organizing, and preparing equipmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyBasic understanding of warehouse operations and tool handlingReliable work ethic with the ability to stay productive during repetitive or physical tasksGood communication skills for coordinating with the Shop Foreman and team membersAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools as requiredStrong commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocolsOrganizational skills to maintain clean work areas and proper tool storageAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWork Environment:Fast paced and noisy environment with constant movement.Regular lifting and/or moving up to to 50 lbs.Qualifications:Have a High School Diploma or equivalent level of educationEssential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies)Entry-level position; no prior experience required (training provided).Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to [insert weight limit] lbs.Basic understanding of hand tools and shop safety practices.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.Notes:Shift:Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm, overtime as needed VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
