Job Description


This position will be a combination of picking products for shipment and stocking items in the distribution center.

POSITION SUMMARY STOCKER:
To properly cut cardboard and plastic from cases of merchandise and stock onto pickline, and order to refill shelves as required by the warehouse replenishment program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sign out RF Unit and complete RF Unit Equipment Check list.
Cut cardboard and cellophane off cased merchandise carefully, to expose merchandise for the order picking.
Stack cases of merchandise from Chase or forward location on stocking cart and cut accordingly with a razor knife.
Push/pull carts of cut merchandise down aisles to pick line locations.
Stock full cases onto pickline in proper location and in proper position for picking and initial last box that is placed in location.
Initial every cut case placed on floor and write pick location on first case. Write legibly so anyone else assigned to the zone can put floor stock in the proper line location.
Place damage merchandise in designated areas and consolidate for Inventory Control disposition.
Rotate stock by expiration date to ensure product freshness.
Alert Pickers when “Out-Of-Stock” merchandise is replenished into pickline to avoid credits.
Discard scrap cardboard and plastic in proper receptacles.
Remove empty pallets from back-up locations and stack in designated areas.
Work floor stock though out your shift.
Follow proper abandon procedures with the WMS system.
Always cut items following proper cut code assigned to the item.
Perform other duties required by Supervision/Management.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Process case pick orders by affixing pick labels on cases.
Pick store orders as needed.
Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.

Skills:
Ability to read and write.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Ability to push/pull heavily loaded carts of merchandise down aisles.
Ability to work in seasonally warm or cool environment.
Ability to work at different heights.
Physical Demands: This position has a constant (67-100%) medium heavy lifting requirement (over 20 lbs.) and occasional (0 – 33%) very heavy lifting requirement (up to 75 lbs. can be assisted as needed). Other physical activities include constant bending/reaching/stooping (67-100%); constant walking/standing/climbing (67-100%).
Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment and conveyors.


POSITION SUMMARY PICKER:
Price and pack merchandise in trays to fill orders for shipment to stores.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Using totes or cardboard boxes, proceed down aisle to select and remove merchandise from shelf in accordance with information provided on pick documents.
Affix pricing label/EAS Tags in correct position merchandise where applicable and place non-priced item labels in tote.
Pack merchandise into totes properly, banding small loose merchandise where needed.
Place label on mark out sheet for merchandise not available for pulling.
A mark out sheet is to be filled out even if there are 0 mark outs for that store.
Must sign onto assignment(s) at the beginning of each shift and properly sign on and off throughout the day. Most importantly you must log off at the end of your work day.
Snap cover on completed tote. Use tote tie on one side (minimum). Push onto conveyor.
Discard all cardboard and paper into trash conveyor.
Place damages in designated areas.
Alert Supervisors or Group Leaders of any item being marked out for more than five invoices.
Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by management, most commonly the Stocker function.
Clean and sweep work area.
Stock shelves and pull merchandise forward.
Fill out delay sheets completely and properly. Turn into Supervisor before or at end of shift.
Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in other warehouse functions as required by Management.

Skills:
Ability to read, write and count accurately.
Ability to work in seasonally warm or cool environment.
Physical Demands: This position has a frequent-medium heavy lifting requirement of 1 – 20 lbs, 34-66% of time. Occasional very heavy lifting requirement of up to 75 lbs, assisted as needed 0-33% of time. Other physical activities include constant bending/reaching/stooping, (67-100%). Constant walking/standing climbing (67-100%).

5:00 PM - 1:30 AM PST Training hours are different
Hybrid role
Training:
1st shift hours for 1 week (7/14/25 - 7/18/25) 500am - 130pm PST
Then move to the 2nd shift on 7/21/25 (500pm - 130am PST)
