While the contractor will work primarily with the Marketing and Technology teams, there will be ample opportunity for the contractor to engage with stakeholders for whom we are implementing this redesignThe client is hiring a Senior Web Designer to participate in and lead the design, development, layout, and coding of a newly developed website for our School and Teaching Hospital. They will develop and design the overall web experience for all stakeholders of our School and Animal Hospital. As part of this project, they will contribute to digital media strategic initiatives and serve as a subject-matter expert on website design and layout.Contributes to website strategy and recommends changes to leadershipDevelops and designs the overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements; ensures that all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and designDevelops and implements strategic digital media initiatives, priorities, objectives, and best practices in collaboration with leadership and other functional work unitsImplements graphical and style standards for websitesEvaluates and implements open source and commercial products to meet project needsServes as a subject matter expert, consultant, and main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding website and application options, design, maintenance, and supportThe successful candidate must have the following required skills:1.
