Description:Role Overview:We are seeking a hands-on Wiring Technician to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses. This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Top 3 Must-Have Skills:Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly – including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge).Tool proficiency – crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole).Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.Nice-to-Have Skills:J-STD-001 Certification or similar.Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.).Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.Experience with QA tools like Test Rails or manual testing procedures.Aerospace, avionics, or electronics manufacturing background.Experience with python and bash scriptingExperience with linux and/or working access control and/or camerasDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA.Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices.Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage).Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets.Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams.Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup.May have to run testAbility to read and follow wire harness assembly instructionsExperience working with access control or cameras is a plus.Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed.
