Description :writer/content providerResponsibilities:Writes compelling articles about college initiatives, profiles and other newsDevelops copy for multiple communication channels including website, newsletters and social media that reflects college’s brand and aligns with institutional prioritiesResearches stories, conducts interviews and coordinates photo shootsProofreads content for tone, editorial style, clarity, grammar and formattingCollaborates with Communications and Marketing Services teams on content developmentReports to director of communicationsQualifications:Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines and handle multiple projectsAttention to detailCommitment to diversity, equity and inclusionExperience with Microsoft WordFamiliarity with AP Style preferredRequired:Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, creative writing or related field or commensurate experienceAt least 2 years’ writing experience for a publication or public relations, research or business communications environmentNote :15 hours a weekPosition can be fully remote.
