X Ray Detector Test Technician

Job Summary:
The X Ray Test Technician is responsible for the loading and unloading of X ray imager panels and fully built detectors into specialized testing equipment. This role performs full test cycles to identify defects, irregularities, and performance concerns, and is accountable for accurately documenting and reporting all findings. The Technician helps maintain a smooth testing workflow by staying current on assigned test queues and ensuring all equipment and tools are clean, organized, and functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Inspection
Load and unload X ray imager panels and completed detectors into designated testers.
Run full testing cycles according to established procedures.
Review test results to identify defects, irregularities, and performance deviations.
Accurately document inspection outcomes and escalate issues as appropriate.

Reporting & Communication
Send detailed, professional emails summarizing test results, issues found, and any abnormalities requiring follow up.
Clearly communicate with engineers, supervisors, and teammates to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Equipment Care & Upkeep
Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of testing equipment, tools, and workstation areas.
Notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Workflow & Production Support
Maintain pace with testing schedules and priorities to support production throughput.
Adapt to shifting priorities based on workload, production demands, and urgent testing needs.
Collaborate positively within a team environment to meet shared goals.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
Good time management abilities, including working efficiently and staying organized.
Ability to shift priorities quickly while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Comfortable following established processes and documenting results clearly.
Ability to stand, move, and handle equipment during loading/unloading tasks.
Comfortable working with testing equipment and within a structured, process driven environment.
Commitment to safety procedures and proper handling of sensitive components.

Required skill set:
Manufacturing experience preferred. Job entails loading and unloading of materials into testers and reviewing data

Work shift – 2nd Shift 3pm – 11:30 pm
