Position Overview



Position Scope and Summary:

Repair Technician:
Will be changing out parts such as boards and then reassembling product to get ready for testing
The work will be performed from oral and/or written instructions including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams.
Tools used will be calibrated torque drivers and hand tools.

Product Tester:
Will be responsible for performing functional testing on repaired equipment to ensure all specification are met.

Diagnostic Technician:
Will be responsible for trouble shooting and identifying failed components that need to be repaired.

Minimum Requirements
Strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in Mechanical assembly processes, preferably in electronics assembly. (2-5 years minimum)
Ability to work with multiple hand and Power/Battery operated tools.
Able to read and work from mechanical drawings and work instructions. (Instructions are in English)
Learn multiple processes, cross-trainable to support multiple product lines.
Ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated & results orientated.
Well organized, with attention to detail.
Ability to work and support production requirements and meet deadlines.
Ensure high quality work is performed with repeatability and reliability.
Able to perform within a team and adapt to a diverse cultural work group.
Good moral character and able to fit into the company culture.
Excellent communication skills

Experience Requirements:
2 years of work-related experience in the electronics industry or related field.
Experience of working in a team orientated manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeable and capable of working in an ESD environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected.
Solder Experience a plus.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required

Notes:
Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30pm
Schedule: Monday thru Friday
This is a contract role with the possibility of conversion to full-time based on business needs and performance
