Sr. Business Analyst

Responsibilities
Take a lead role in setting up and supporting cloud cost management software for the client.
Onboard new users; create widgets, dashboards and reports.
Prepare documentation and user guides.
Compare data sets to ensure consistency.
Draft presentations and reports as needed.

Knowledge
Has a solid foundation in cloud computing concepts and terminology
Understanding of AWS cloud computing services (desired)
Basic knowledge of FinOps (i.e. cloud cost management) principles
Familiarity with data analysis concepts and best practices
Knowledge of IBM Cloudability or similar FinOps tools (desired but not required)

Skills
Technical Skills: - Proficient in creating and analyzing data visualizations, charts, and pivot tables (Excel/Power BI) - Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) - Ability to manipulate and analyze datasets
Soft Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, highly technical teams - Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies and tools - Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Experience
Demonstrated experience working with data analysis and reporting
Experience and/or certification in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred)
Prior work with FinOps tools or cloud cost optimization (a plus)

Education
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field and 10 years of experience
