Job Description:Basic Function: Perform a wide variety of administrative duties of a highly confidential and sensitive nature, in support of the top executive of a manufacturing site.Typical duties/responsibilities for administration may include, but are not limited to, the following:- Performs complex administrative tasks and takes ownership of delivering specific business processes/programs.- Assists a business/business manager(s) in all business-relevant administration tasks, such as conducting research, compiling, verifying the information, and creating special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents.- Responsible for different communication tasks within their own area of responsibility, ensuring sharing of knowledge and information to keep others informed and up to date.- Initiates continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.- Acts as the primary point of contact for internal/external inquiries via phone and email, assesses the urgency of issues, and initiates appropriate action.- Arranges business-critical internal/external events, including arranging travel, developing itineraries, booking accommodation, registering for conferences, and coordinating with visiting speakers, among other tasks.Requires strong communication and organization skills to effectively interface and coordinate activities involving Company executives, customers, and collaborating across functions.Complexity of Tasks: Under relatively infrequent supervision, exercise discretion and judgment to perform varied administrative duties that may present complex problems. Requires thorough understanding of techniques, practices and procedures related to specific assignment and general knowledge of related functions in support of top executive responsible for a major functional area or profit center. Independently set priorities for completion of varied administrative and project-oriented duties typically involving highly confidential business and personnel information. Requires strong communication skills to effectively interface and coordinate activities involving Company executives, customers, and collaborating across functions.Qualifications: High School diploma and minimum 3 years of experience or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.Prior experience in manufacturing environments is helpful, but not required.Strong preference for experience with coordinating events for internal and external customers.
