Position Overview:
The IT project manager will serve as the project manager for IT supported initiatives at the client company. As a PM, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. The ideal candidate would be expected to be resourceful, and a self-starter. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

You will lead a portfolio of IT initiatives aimed at transforming and raising performance level of client business lines, business functions, and regions
You will team up with technical and business teams to deliver initiatives for integrated and intelligent value chain management
You will organize inter-disciplinary teams (business & IT) to be able to manage complex business and technical risks
You will support multi-functional teams of business experts in identifying and solving complex data and system dependencies

Responsibilities:
Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion
Work closely with a project sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
The program manager will also collaborate with other members of the PMO team to implement tools and processes to enable a high functioning, high impact, analytically driven IT organization
Responsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s)
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Lead and drive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project execution
Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status
Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
20% travel possible (national and international)

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Knowledge And Experience
Advanced communication skills (Both oral and written)
Advanced presentation skills
Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
Ability to facilitate business process and value stream mapping sessions
Ability to facilitate workshops to develop business requirements and solutions
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure services and architecture
Information security & data privacy as applicable in healthcare industry
IT systems in a quality regulated medical environment, or equivalent in another regulated industry
Current IT technologies and standards
Experience with ITIL & ITSM processes
Working knowledge of Lean, Agile and/or CCPM methodologies

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
Project Management experience within large/complex business driven projects; PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Experience in working with C-level and senior leadership
Vendor/supplier management
ITIL Certification or process knowledge
