Imaging Laboratory TechnicianTHE ROLE:Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is an entrepreneurial research and development team tasked to build client's future IPs, new platforms, and exciting products. You will operate imaging laboratory equipment and cameras, collect objective performance indicators, and prepare test reports.The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about cameras and image quality, and have a critical eye and attention to detail. They should have effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with team members of diversified backgrounds. This is an entry-level position; the successful candidate will be trained to correctly and efficiently perform job duties.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Basic lab management, lab equipment bring-up and maintenanceCamera competitive analysis and benchmarking, field testing, image / video captureCreate demo scene setups, collect results, and prepare test reportsSKILLS:Ability to follow instructions and product manuals, ability to work independentlyGeneral camera and lab equipment operating skillsBasic manual skills including toolmanship and equipment assemblyBasic photography / picture-taking skills, with attention to visual detailsGood communication skills (verbal & written) in EnglishAll necessary camera training will be providedACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant areas - high school diploma acceptableWe are looking for someone with an interest in camera and video, and an eye for details while looking at images, who is a quick learner who we can teach and cultivate.Notes:100% OnsiteAdditional notes:Entry level position - candidate with a background in imaging or an interest in camera/video a plusHardware assembly or debugging experience would be a plusPosition would be good for someone who wants to work in a different domain of engineeringTools: Windows camera app (for image capture) and various proprietary tools
