Description:Manufacturing TechnicianSummaryThe client is in need of a Manufacturing Technician to assist in the processing of scintillator material (Load/unload furnaces, product formation and densification), Data Collection, Product Sampling, Analytical testing (Particle Size Analysis & ICP), and Chemical handling (Both liquid and solid). As a production technician, your responsibilities will stretch beyond making daily output targets by being involved with trouble shooting and working with the engineering teamResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor calcine furnace, disk mill, and compactor equipment in the powder processing room to produce high-quality CT subassembly materials.Ensure strict compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, including consistent use of PPE, maintaining clean/organized work areas, and reporting hazards promptly.Follow client's Quality Management System and operational processes to deliver defect-free material, maintaining accurate and timely production and recordkeeping.Achieve production delivery targets by monitoring daily output, escalating issues promptly, and ensuring products are delivered on time to support customer needs.Minimize scrap and equipment downtime by following proper operating procedures, escalating process issues, and contributing to cost-efficient manufacturing.Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement by treating colleagues fairly, suggesting process enhancements, and actively supporting a safe, positive work environment.RequirementsAssociates degree (or local equivalent 2 year degree), or a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 2 or more years technical experienceProficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical informationDemonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and informationPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fieldsPrior experience in Chemical manufacturing or Clean room manufacturingNotes:Work shift – 3rd Shift 10:00PM-6:30AM – 30min Mealbreak at 3:00amVIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
