Job Description


IT Senior Business Analyst

Resource will work with the PM in the planning, directing, and coordination of activities related to the replacement of a large enterprise scale technology project. Ensuring the business requirements of the project are captured leading to a successful transition.

The ideal candidate will have an engaging personality with the ability to communicate and engage all levels of the business and user community. The individual selected must be comfortable with technology, possess good analytical skills, and possess superior customer service skills. Individual must be a team player willing to do what is needed to get the job done.

Essential Duties/ Job Responsibilities:
Candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, top-notch analyst, and have a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems. The person selected will be wholly committed to the discovery and development of cutting-edge innovative solutions. They will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and operational needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. They will coordinate with departmental heads, executives, and other stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
Liaison between various business departments and group
Communicate findings, and recommendations, to project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives.
Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
Assist with project management as needed.

Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field. - Required
Business Analyst experience or in a related role - Required - 5 Years
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools - Required - 5 Years
Strong experience leading, facilitating and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects - Required - 5 Years
Strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals - Required - 5 Years
Strong background in facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions - Required - 5 Years
Demonstrated experience in the creation of User Stories - Required - 5 Years
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills - Required - 5 Years
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization - Required
Demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment. - Required - 5 Years
Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills. - Required
Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization - Required
Ability to manage projects to successful conclusion. - Required - 5 Years
Ability to handle multiple tasks beyond the routine - Required
High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative - Required
Ability to maintain composure and control when things do not proceed as planned. - Required
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of functional and basic technical components - Required
Prior healthcare industry experience - Highly desired
Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems - Desired
