Position Overview


The HIE Medicaid Services (HMS) program was created to formally recognize and structure the partnership between the client. The goal of the program is to leverage client to support client quality and population health eUorts by improving data exchange. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact technical projects associated with the implementation of improved and enhanced care management data exchange processes via client. This work is federally funded under an existing Advance Planning Document (APD). Beyond the work with client, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for engaging with other payers to support exchange of claims and other supplementary information. n collaboration with the HIEA Program Manager, the HMS Senior IT Project Manager, and the HMS Program Lead, the role manages assigned HMS workstreams and supports oversight of the technical implementation vendor in close collaboration with the client. This role requires expertise in applying recognized project management methodologies, understanding complex systems and claims exchange, and requires significant collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple internal divisions, vendors, and external state agencies.


Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Utilize healthcare claims expertise to clarify requirements, evaluate technical impacts, and track UAT issue resolution - Required - 7 Years
Provide project management oversight of vendor implementation projects to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. - Required - 7 Years
Develop integrated project plans and manage scope, schedule, requirements, risks, communication, and change control. - Required - 5 Years
Provide regular project reporting, including progress, risks, blockers, and decisions for stakeholders. - Required - 3 Years
